Oh yeah, avid wall climbers and rock climbers are usually crazy lean and have great upper body strength

Rowing and canoe. Nevin Harrison is a good example.

I can't decide between CrossFit and powerlifting

That doesn't look like a female swimmer to me 🤣

Maybe you mean something like this

Rowers have fantastic bodies too and they are all long legged and tall with broad shoulders

CrossFit is the only one of these options that prioritizes an aesthetic physique. The others gain a great physique as a consequence of the training, but in CrossFit, it's critical to have a great physique for the sake of income. The athletes that don't look hot or show skin don't get as many endorsements or opportunities.

Brooke Wells is massively popular, but hasn't come close to winning anything. Same with Miranda Alcaraz (formerly Oldroyd).

They're all very strong in real life, and many heavy great bodies, but the question specifies physique.

This is true for all women sports. Kournikova in tennis is probably the most famous example.

Exactly. Laura Hovarth completely crushed the CrossFit games last year and in Wodapalooza teams last weekend. But she is a heavier athlete, and gets so much less attention than Brooke Wells, Dani Speegle, Danielle Brandon and Annie Thorissdottir.

she made a pretty big splash that one year and then of course mal o'brien picked up all the attention 2 years ago, and then it was mal and the one 17yo Emma Lawson who was in top 4 most of the weekend until the end there outpacing all of the adults (she ended up finsihing 6th).

horvath doesn't seem to do all the of the social media shit that brooke, Dani, danielle do, and annie has been popular for almost a decade now.

Pole vaulters, heptathletes and divers, because they require several disciplines and training types. Divers have to be swimmers and gymnasts, for example.

Soccer, Track and Field and Volleyball in that order.

Female cyclists - huge quads.

if i had access to a pool i'd definitely start swimming more- the wide torso and thick arms is my ideal physique on myself.

I agree with Volleyball (beach), swimming, track and field and some soccer.

This ofc you have to be on gear to obtain this physique but something about those work outs give women that beautiful hard look, power lifting gives a more big and beefy natural look though which I love too they're both my faves.

Woah had no idea female swimmers were so huge, nice!

i think the old thinking aboutwhat a powerlifter looks like has to be thrown out the window now. there are plenty of IMO high-quality physiques as well as ones that are actually pro physiques and not that kind of "fat" look that is easiest to conjure up. A list, not in any order, of powerlifters who's bodies i love:

How you could leave Kristy Hawkins, the queen of the sport, off that list is beyond me.

I'd have to say swimming and gymnastics build the best female physiques in sports. One of my favorite bodybuilders in terms of physique aesthetics (as well as generally), Tomoko Kanda, has a competitive swimming background.

I’m going to chuck in the suggestion: Equestrian

Now obviously we’re not going to have too many hulking mass monsters here, but hear me out, horsey girls have some amazingly athletic bodies, and are as strong as heck too.

I live in a fairly horsey part of the UK and have horsey friends and one or two horsey girlfriends. If you can find a girl who’s been horsey all her life, then she’s been getting a serious workout twice a day, every day. The horse handling, the hay bales, the horse riding, the mucking out. All girls are different of course but some girls get juicy round bums, thick thighs, muscular backs, and some fairly chunky arms. And they’re SO strong too.
