Recent notification changes

Over the past few days I've made notable changes to some notifications:

1. When there's a new image of a model you've subscribed to, you now see the image thumbnail in your notifications. (Otherwise, these notifications work the same as before.)
2. You now get notified when there is a name change on an image you have either favorited or subscribed to. (This is new.)

As a part of #1 I had to delete all the old-style notifications (with no attached thumbnail) so if you see some older notifications missing, this is why.

question: i recently got some notifications of an woman i was subbed to, but it showed up as like 56 images, and i'm sure those all didn't just go up. Was this an instance of a mass image rename that then i was basically notified of?

Looks like a user did a (manual) mass rename on those by adding "(ivy nile)" to it.

Hi love the new addition Chainer. I just want to suggest a quality of life change. Currently new notifications are bold and old ones are not. With the change it goes unnoticed because of so many pictures and always scroll below to old notifications. It will be good if there is a big prominent line/ color between new and old notifications. Thanks

Great change. Another suggestion might be to be able to differentiate if the new images are pics vs video.

I've been receiving these "Name Change" notifications about a few women I'm neither suscribed to nor faved, but I had added +1 to, though.

Also; I received a notification not for the woman in singular, but for each picture, so if a very popular woman gets a name change...

I know this isn't an open suggestion thread, but "Dark mode" with black background instead of white would be an awesome option to have too.

Good changes! Thanks, Chainer! Now the publication in notifications is immediately visible and you can immediately go to it... no need to go to the gallery to the model.

Due to feedback I've made the following changes:

• When an image is merged into another, all "New image of..." notifications are deleted for the newer one of these images. This is because that image turned out to already exist on the site, so it's not really "new".
• When an image is renamed, it doesn't send notifications for a model whose name was already there prior to the rename. For example, if an image with "Jane Doe" is renamed to "Jane Doe, Mary Smith", it doesn't send "New image of..." notifications for Jane Doe. Prior to this change it would have sent notifications for both.

This should reduce the amount of notification spam.

One thing I've just experienced: There are multiple "name change" notifications for the same image. I mean, I'm sure there were multiple name changes on the same image, nevertheless maybe it could be shown in one notification only?

Name change on image 1921978 to: Baek Minhee (45gym_minhee)

Hey i have a suggestion. can you add a time stamp to the notifications. so we know how old they are.

The problem I'm having with the new system, is it doesn't tell you which images are videos. Some images look like pretty ordinary pictures which I almost ignore, until I think maybe it's a video and I click on it to find out if it is. I've probably missed out on a few good videos by not realising that they were videos.

The new change is nice, but you need the play triangle in the thumbnail to signify video
