If you ever find an FBB left -wing nerd girl, might as well apply for your unicorn hunting license.
They are definitely out there. But yeah seems like a minority for sure.

This is interesting. Do you think that narcissism is a common personality trait for bodybuilders?
Andrea Shaw is my fave and I HATE that she succumbed to whoever it was that suggested she downsize a bit. She blew away the competition in 2021 so why would she need to downgrade anything when she still won by a landslide. I get why she did it. Sponsors, politics, chances of getting screwed over, etc. BB isn't cheap. You can't allow that money flow to run dry. Who the hell am I to suggest she do any different. But damn do I wish she would have nicely told them to kick rocks and continued to push her limits.
Number 1 has got to be certain political views. I mostly don't get into the girls personal lives or what they like and think. I just watch the videos and leave it at that. They are a fantasy not my friends. But the last political election quite a few just couldn't help posting a lot of their views on their social media and it really turned me off of some of them.
Honestly I don't want to see that kind of stuff no matter what side of the isle your on but one side definitely turns me off more. I'm there for the hot girl muscle not your views on the woke secrete Jewish mafia that's out to destroy America and make your kid gay or whatever.
That and neck and chest tattoos.
Cindy Reyes is one of faves, great looks and an amazing physique, but she’s very right wing leaning, and it scares me since she works as a nurse. She also dosent look like she’s friendly toward shmoes. Now I understand no FBB is obliged to this, I just saw on her Instagram she said something about she won’t flex if anyone ask, which again I respect since it’s her decision. I don’t think I’m allowed to talk about Tarna since I think she’s black listed. She’s been out of bodybuilding for awhile, and she’s mega Conservative. Very much so she can’t even grasp the concept of a smoche, or that there are guys out who did appreciate her physique, even if it was for the right or wrong reason. Tina La Titan is another one, along with Beast Mode Becca. Also Jessica Chappa is mega conservative.
I think Jodi Leigh Miller might qualify?
Kristy Hawkins definitely nails the nerd girl part but she doesn't really discuss politics.
Yeah Jodie Miller is pretty liberal from what I remember from past things she posted. She is also really smart, and I think is a teacher.
More to the nerd part, when I see FFB wearing or with nerdy things my heart melts. Dani Reardon did this to me many times during her bodybuilding days. It’s almost a whole other topic in itself. From her yoda slippers to the fact she had a comic collection. Don’t get me started about the vid with her at a Star Wars convention.
It is really that hard to believe that people who dedicate their whole live’s to a lifestyle, putting in ungodly amounts of hours, hard work and money in to growing literally and figuratively, would migrate to a political movement whose mantra is “pick yourself up by your bootstraps”? I’m shocked it isn’t more intuitive to most of you, it’s really not that deep.

I don't know of any party whose mantra is "pick yourself up by your bootstraps." Is this another way of saying, "You're on your own and don't expect any support?"

Yeah. Also I guess left leaning people just don't work hard either.
This thread never promised anyone pictures, there are plenty of them on this site to be found... however, it's pretty sad that division of politics took over this convo as well since that's definitely one of those subjects people can't move on from once it gets mentioned and I very much doubt the original intent of this thread was for this topic to take it over. It's all we hear about these days, it's been mentioned now, can we get past it please?
Maybe a subject change would help. Mine is when my favorite bb girl only offers up one kind of pose, like they don't know how to take a picture of anything but an upright deadlift stance in various outfits - as if their fans don't want to see anything else!
There’s also a few women I follow on instagram who are very good illustrators but I can’t remember their names.
Just to name two -- I don't think Aline Dessine is her real name because it literally translates to "Aline draws" -- and she does. Cynthia Welden has also produced anime art. Some of the Japanese girls I follow also draw, I think fuka_gzl is one of them.

Yeah, politics shouldn't take over this thread. That would be unfortunate if the thread devolved into a political debate. It's just one of a number of possible things that are potentially annoying about FBBs that we otherwise admire.
And this thread should not be under Images Themes. I don't understand why it would be under that designation.

I mean, politics are annoying. And like you said, once its mentioned its hard to get past. And some of my favorite FBBs have great physiques, but they also are hugely into shouting about politics, which is annoying because, as stated before, politics are annoying.
If people make a complaint, hate, annoyance, or etc thread, politics and religion are just going to pop up because they're just subjects that are inherently annoying if you're not on the same viewpoint as the opposition.
What makes you think they're more to be on these sides of things?
Well I think this thread lays it out nicely.. the hobby and lifestyle of bodybuilding is actually very inclusive and welcoming. I even think that most gyms are quite welcoming at best and tolerant at worst (maybe not Crossfit, but I've never been there).
But the industry of Bodybuilding? Different story. I think it's super backwards, patriarchal, misogynistic, and homophobic. It's closer to the WWE than it is to a proper sport. Even UFC seems to respect their female athletes more.
With things like Onlyfans and Patreon, you don't need to compete to have a successful career as a bodybuilder. So I think that more progressive girls just don't need to be in the industry. They work out for themselves, and they earn either their main living or a comfortable side living doing modeling and fetish work.

Or if an FBB is a public figure or a sex worker or a brand ambassador. Unless you work in politics, talking all the time about your politics is almost always a terrible idea. Especially if you're selling something.
But we've seen that many people - maybe most - simply can't help themselves. Whatever people think of Elon, I don't think anyone could argue that his never-ending political talk is benefitting his personal brand or his net worth. But some simply can't resist saying all of the quiet parts out loud when they have a platform.
CrossFit is pretty expensive to get into if you’re going to join a gym. In my city, almost all the gyms are in the higher socioeconomic area of town, which does make sense, and like I said before, people in that higher bracket tend to lean more to the right.
Also (and what I understand, this is mostly an American thing: CrossFit culture doesn’t really have this in Europe,) the brand leans heavily into pro-military and pro-law enforcement: two institutions that are conservative. Once, our gym decided to do a Black Lives Matter tribute workout, and it was met with immediate backlash (all the complainers were white dudes too.) People at my gym are generally nice and welcoming, but there are times where, as a guy who is a person of color, liberal and not an evangelical, I feel a bit uncomfortable.
