Selfishly? I would love it if Cindy Phillips and Dani Reardon returned to competitive bodybuilding or stayed around longer. What's crazy is that Cindy in her absolute prime and her biggest could easily pass for Physique today. For as much as they accomplished in the short amount of time they were on the scene, a part of me can't help but wonder how much further they could have gone.
Then there's Rene Marven. Her last competition in Bodybuilding was in 2014 when she was probably at her biggest! She was massive that year.
She took a couple years off and downsized bigtime to compete in Figure in 2016. This was her last competition ever.
She has bulked back up to her Bodybuilding weight over the last few years and even got implants recently. I wouldn't mind seeing how she fares on stage again now.
Rene is makin her fbb comeback at Omaha Pro in 2023.
Kristy Hawkins posted something recently that I found interesting. It was her pro card renewed for 2023 with the caption “Just in case”
My hypothesis is that she wants to exceed Maryana Gasparyan's DOTS score to become, according to one widely accepted metric, the best powerlifter on earth. Once she has conquered the sport she will countenance a return to bodybuilding.

I’m really curious about what kind of physique she would have after focusing on powerlifting for so long. I’m guessing it would be similar to Hunter Henderson’s.

A huge one.
Kristy has incorporated bodybuilding-style training into her powerlifting programming (something frequently recommended to powerlifters), so she has come in much more visibly muscular than most women in her weight class. I have no doubt she will bring a world-class physique package to the bodybuilding stage should she choose to step on it.
Per her instagram, Jodi Boam is making a comeback.
Technically, she never actually quit...she kept on training even while being very pregnant (and I mean dumbbells and sommersaults with a 8-month belly); she just overestimated her recovery capacity and thought she could already compete in 2022.
But yeah, she's making nice progress for next year. Now, if I have to follow the thread's title more closely...I'd like her to return to Physique and get Maximum Jodi again.
I spoke to her awhile ago about it. She wants to make one more to at fitness while her body allows it, and then would focus on physique. She wouldn’t be ready for that right now but another year could get her to where she was pre kid
> > Man, I remember when Xin Li Cao was on Herbicepscam all the time. She flamed out fast, didn't she?
She moved to NYC, got pregnant by a guy, and later married him I think. These girls become wives and mums and suddenly muscle isn't as much of a priority.
I don't think that was it . She was living in NY long before she got married . Seemed to be something about not being able to get some kind of pro status . Not long after that she vanished from the scene .
id like Alina Popa to make a comeback.
