Do they know ? Do they realize the effect they have on "us" ?

And by "they" I mean not only female bodybuilders but also girls who are to some degree muscular.

Do they know/realize that some men (in my opinion "most men" :-)) really like their muscular body and get turned on by it ?

I can imagine that an average looking girl that starts to work out and get more muscular also sees an increase in male interest in them (sometimes even starting to get more attention than the traditional skinny good looking girl). So they should realize it to some point right ?

Anybody has experience or ideas with/about this ?

Obviously they do, because look at how of them monetize their physiques through cams and avenues like OnlyFans.

I feel like most muscular women know there is a fetish for it, and if they’re newly turning to a muscular athlete, they’ll know very soon

I think those who are active online or are successful at their sport all know for sure

but maybe there are still a few more humble muscle women. who don't use Instagram and only work out for fun or to get stronger for work. maybe those dont know since they only know local men who are not into it. but i am not sure if women like that still exist.

100%, though i think the "enthusiasm" often catches them by surprise. but the anime crowd loves it, the gym crowd majority loves it. randoms love it too. i think it's still easy to hide even on IG but even i've found one or two "entry level" women that friends follow. idk that i'd call them entry level either. Natasha Aughey is pretty heavily muscled, not to mention the very built semi-popular to red-hot crossfit women that some other friends follow.

Would be impossible for them not to know if they have an online presence.

but since so many of them are embracing the muscle mommy thing there's so kind of appreciation for the fans. unfortunately it's led to an inflated sense of worth in how much they charge which leads to unreasonable pricing when i buy stuff. older competitors are find with the equivalent of cam pricing or a little bit more.

I always wonder about it, and I think they know, but some of then will say that really know and that's super hot. I mean the way they pose, the expressions they made, the smiles or winks about it or the serious big fbb poses, like they know we are thrilled by any display of her muscles etc.

On the other hand there are fbb that just timid poses or doesn't quite play with that, more reluctant.

Female bodybuilders probably do but a lot of muscular women don't. I've seen a lot of female athletes and women who are generally fit live streaming on IG and Youtube where their chat has multiple people requesting them to flex and they do it. I don't think they would if they knew it was a fetish, I've seen request for things from more obvious fetishes like feet and that will usually creep them out.

Marcie Madness has done a couple of youtubes video on this subject (kind of). I can't remember which video it was in but she mentions that at bodybuilding shows you can tell who are the schmoes apparently (we might have some sort of tell). Her videos are very insightful.

Yeah I think after the 387th guy on Instagram asks them how many inches their biceps are and demands that she send her pic for "promotion" on his page, they get the idea. A lot of the guys in our camp sadly have no tact.

i wonder if it's asking for a photo and also asking if they can touch your arm in the photo OR asking if they would take some cash to step on them, not sure which.

Probably the last one.

Some do. Some don't. Amber DeLuca recently did an interview in which she talked about how she was encouraged to do bodybuilding and session wrestling by her (now ex) husband. And from there she realized, there are men who are aroused by the feeling of being dominated by a big, strong woman, and that she could make a living in embodying that fantasy. So for some it's definitely something they have to realize about themselves and how men see them, and they can either embrace it or reject it. Others are unaware of or ignore the schmoe aspect of it. They may see themselves as sexy because they are fit, but only seek out big strong guys who still see them as weaker women so they're not plugged in to the whole zeitgeist of strength and muscle, even being stronger than the guy, as the locus of arousal.

If you put yourself into the shoes of a FBB then the picture becomes clearer...

As she develops more muscles several things begin to happen. Either she's starting off as overweight and she's now burning bodyfat, or she's starting off as skinny and she's beginning to "fill out." Typically she'll start to feel better about herself (i.e. more confident) and begin to wear tighter/more revealing clothing. As members of the male population, we can't help but to take notice as soon as a woman starts to make this metamorphosis.

They all notice, for better or for worse. Some enjoy the attention while others don't.

I really wish they would to some degree. This is coming from someone who has been blocked by several FBBs. I’ve been to several BB shows, took a break for six years, went to a small one in Auburn WA just this past July. There were these two women selling merch who’s arms just looked incredible. When I asked if I can a pic of them both, one said sure walked away, and I asked the other Gal if she still wanted one, and she said she’s careful of what she posts. I’m not sure if I’m allowed to mention Tarna on here since she’s black listed, but let me tell you, she does not like any muscle fans in general. She barely understands the concept. It’s a shame cuase she’s the most amazing FFB I had ever seen. You get the ones the understand that certain group of people are going to be attracted to them, and others that are so so.

Another thread for "naive" schmoes and simps. People don't want to face reality no matter how many times they are being told about it.

The vast majority, like 99,99% of women who practice this dead end sport, do it for the male attention. Not any male's attention but for the "high value" man with a built physique.

A schmoe respectfully asks for a photo and you can see the cringe on their faces even from before he asks. The exact next minute the same women can be seen posing with sleeves up, butt sticking next to the crotch of a male BB that asked for the same photo.

A fetish sport that has the competitors barely dressed in thongs, stripper heels, full on make up, moving like strippers, having been butt naked in front of a stranger with a spray gun.

Athletes that post hundreds of T&A videos on their socials and join OnlyFans by the dozen it is self explanatory that they DO know what they sell.

Nice stat. Unfortunately, you are 100% talking out of your ass.

100% of all bodybuilders I have met female/male online/irl (and I have met a LOT) do not train for anyones attention. We train for OURSELVES

You would understand this if you had any experience in fitness (or even mildly active living for christ sakes)

I think it varies. You have to be substantially self-motivated to successfully bodybuild, so occasionally this strong inward focus can lead to a lack of awareness (for better or worse) of the perceptions of others.

Some women capitalize on it, others are caught off guard often in a bad way. Sadly the most common reaction is one of revolt, because people think muscles are "manly".

That almost sounds a little creepy and incel-ish. Like you think these women owe schmoes something. Sounds like the same sort of attitude incels have, like women who dress in skimpy clothes deserve to be raped or owe them sex or something. I'm pretty sure 99% of these women work out for THEMSELVES. Do they like male attention? Sure, I'm sure most of them do. Are they creeped out by weird smarmy nebbishy "fanboys" who want to be near them? Of course! Why the fuck wouldn't they be? Are they more attracted to men who take care of their bodies and care about their appearance? Uh.. yeah. Again, why the fuck wouldn't they be?

Hopefully I'm just misinterpeting or misunderstanding your take, but these women don't owe their "fans" anything. Unless you're a subscriber on Only Fans or giving them money with clear and realistic expectations of what you're getting in return (that's different). I wouldn't know. I don't do cams or OF or any of that. I've done some sessions though and they were fun, but I'm a normal dude who is in decent shape and I don't grovel at their feet or act like a freak so... and with a session the expectations are crystal clear and discussed beforehand. It's not like going to a FBB contest and then getting mad because a girl doesn't want to pose for a pic with you. That's just...UGH.

Exactly what I was driving at. Dude sounds like an incel type who's probably planning to blow up a Walmart or something.
