One woman who is constantly overlooked is Bev Francis. This is her from the 80S!!!
She could have gone head-to-head with FBBs from the 90S!! She was tryly ahead of her time.

Why is it that some of these vintage girls seemed much more muscular than girls of today? Take Christa Bauch as an example. Is it that certain muscle groups were exaggerated then?
Carla Dunlap, 1983 Ms Olympia, a seamless combination of aesthetics, definition and size (for the time). Also, the first FBB that I can remember who wasn’t afraid to showcase sculpted, striated pecs, something that many early female bodybuilders avoided.
If I recall right, she once kicked her high heels off onstage and was the pioneer on getting rid of them.
