I live in London never seen a female bodybuilder out and about.
Just seems rare. I think America has a different culture when it comes to women and fitness. Women over there seem to be heavily into bodybuilding
To be honest, London is such a big city (Twice as big as New York area-wise) that chances to meet one are scarce. But there's more than enough gyms there to encounter a couple at least.
About ten years or so ago I saw Wanda Moore ( ) in a Walmart next to where I used to live. She was wearing her one piece workout tights and showing bare arms, her triceps just bulging. She looked good. She's very short, but she had two HUGE guys with her, in their workout tights, too. They had obviously just come from the gym. She caught me looking at her and gave me a dirty look. I thought about letting her know that I knew who she was and wasn't just looking at her like she's some freak -- I am an actual FBB fan. But I didn't say anything and left her alone.
I also saw Paulina Talus in LA around 20 years ago, walking with people in Hollywood. Didn't bother her either. I've seen other FBBs, but I think that those are the only ones whose names I knew when I saw them in a "real life encounter."

That’s too bad about Wanda. Maybe she has had bad experiences in the past with random people on the street?

That surprises me about Wanda since she does porn. I would have thought she would have appreciated the attention.
I just figured that she thought I was some random guy looking at her like she was a freak. I almost mouthed, "Miss Wanda" to her to let her know I was a fan, but I wasn't cleaned up and figured that I would just leave her alone and let her think whatever she wanted to think. The mean look didn't offend me. No biggy.
Miss Wanda might have weirded her out more.
Never open with that. Just call them their name lol

Ugh... You ARE a random guy looking at her and the "Miss Wanda" thing is very creepy.
You guys misunderstand. "Miss Wanda" is her online moniker that she goes by. It's exactly what her fans call her, what she specifically tells them to call her, at least when she had more of an online presence back then. Now you know why that wouldn't be creepy..
it's 100% creepy. I would never want someone who buys porn from me online to address me by my work name, in front of people. this is as bad as it gets lol

Why are you making judgments by proxy? You have no idea if she's fine with it or not. You only know what YOUR reaction would be. Frankly, that's totally irrelevant.
Maybe we could put a lid on the white knighting and judgments, especially from moderators. You're not here to insult the users of this website.
lmao because i would be mortified if someone approached me on the street and addressed me by my online writer's name.
just be a normal person.
You guys are silly. If I saw, say, Margie Martin in public, I would never think to call her "Miss Margie" because she doesn't go by that. By saying "Miss Wanda," Wanda Moore would've immediately known that I was a fan of hers. It was an innocent consideration that I didn't follow through with. That's what she went by at the time, like how most porn stars and many online personalities don't go by their real names. I don't even know if I knew her real name at the time.
But go ahead and make your glib judgments. Sticks and stones.
When I initially posted that I thought about calling her "Miss Wanda," I just assumed that people knew that was her online persona that she used.
I think that people who are in the public eye create these names so that fans do not know their real names. A lot of them don't want you to call them their real name because you don't really know them. Some might think that a complete stranger calling them by their real name is creepier than a complete stranger calling them by the name that they use as their public persona because the latter indicates that they're dealing with a fan.

I don't feel insulted. The mod's just misjudging because he wasn't there and doesn't understand. It wouldn't have actually been me saying it for all to hear because I had no intention of walking up to her. I was walking by her, so I was actually just going to mouth "Miss Wanda" as I walked by to let her know that I wasn't looking at her as a freak, but as a fan. But I didn't do that. I just looked away and kept walking. I'm not trying to justify myself because I know that my intentions were good and I know that if the mod understood better, then he wouldn't think it was creepy.
It would be weird if a mod was trying to insult me. I'd have to just take the high road on that one and report it to Chainer.

There are a few trainers of note at PureGym branches over London. Try Piccadilly and Colindale for starters. Any busy public gym youll see something..
I wonder how many of us actually go to bodybuilding shows. While it’s expected to see muscular women and men on stage, there are almost always muscular women in the audience.
Used to go to shows and expos like the BodyPower Expo in the UK, but that was before the pandemic. Might try again this fall.
For me, it was a woman who worked in my team i.e. I was her boss at the time. She was pretty and lean and about 5'4". We had gone for a late night party and there were four of us in the cab (so we don't get busted for D&D). We were about to reach her place and I don't remember what the conversation was at the time (it happened seven years ago), and she starts telling me that she works out. And then to my surprise, she rolls up her sleeves and flexes her bicep. It wasn't very big or anything, but the muscle popped up and was very defined (like may be Cameron Diaz or Julie Bowen). I didn't wait for an invitation and caressed her bicep, remarking how remarkable it was. It was so defined and I was so hard, I'm surprised I didn't blow my load then and there. She did it once more at another colleague's home where we had gone for dinner. I felt it again, the rising bulbous shape of her bicep. It felt so raw and inviting. It's been a few years since I have seen her, thanks to the corona virus. I'm hoping to meet her again at work and see what she's been up to.
