At one of my first Booth Jobs at FIBO Expo meet Sarah Backmann at her Booth . As she griped my hand for do a shot at her Armwrestling table i got a small preview on her grip strength and her power . We did not push for real , she just used enough strenght for a good muscle contraction of us both for a good shot
That's awesome. I am envious
How was her grip?
Her hands look pretty big too
I can imagine it would be like being engulfed by a vice. A vice attached to a beautiful girl!
Her hands are definitly bigger than my hands but she is taller and a heavyweight compared to me . She did grip hard but not too hard just enough for contract her forearm muscle and i was clearly feeling that there is much more power . Next she signlaed me to grip harder for contract my forearm muscles max and then leveled out how much strength and a good position to use for squeeze out my bicep max for a good shot . It may looked like a lil bit struggle at start position , but we did not armwrestled for real just searching the best muscle contraction for best looking arms and get a great shot / posing for the people
This is Part of the EXPO show , she dont armwrestle the Audience or the other EXPO Girls like me in a match , the risk of injury is to high
And here I was hoping that you were going to tell us that you crushed Sarah's hand until she fell to her knees begging for mercy. ;)
Use this 2 trainers most one a week when do my Pole Training.
On the Finger grip Trainer use 2/3 intensity (it is from 15 to 40 kg adjustable) 3set 12 rep
The bending weight use most the 30 kg 12 rep 3 set but be able to bend the 50 kg for a few reps
Cool I use the finger grip everyday do 100 reps on each hand 30-40kg adjustable. Been doing this for the last 2 weeks, I have noticed my grip strength has improved a ton and my forearm muscle has got alot bigger
Haven't used the bending bar though. Might try it as well

Hehe, I was just funning with you Liesbeth, hehe. But congrats on winning a medal there! :)
How about sharing the details of your matches on the forums Liesbeth? I'm sure many of us would love to hear about them.
When do a armwrestling contest the matches are close to 100 % diferent to most Armwrestling matchest shown here on site . There is no endless struggle no easy talking while push , no flex with other arm or things for make a show.
At the contest i placed 2 on left and 3 on right ( up to 58 Kg class ) at the expo booth all matches was pretty short . No professional armwresetlers competeted , Fit Visitors , Competiotors in Fitness / Figure / BB and Booth Girls .... But the Armwrestling was by the pro rules at a official table with referee .
So normaly they call out the name of the contendes and both walk to the table . So i walk to the table when my name was called and the other girl at the side of the table i was called out for . Next take place at the table put ellbow on and the referees correct the position if it is nescesary . Now i take the hand of my opponent and the referee corrects every finger and grip of us both hands until he gives his Ok . No call of 1 2 3 , a ready set go or something like this . At the moment the referee releeses hands i start to push with all i got and try to get my opponents arm down as quick as possible . So most matches are about 3 to 7 seconds . Had just 2 matches about 10 seconds and this was both lost , just the desperat try to hold and get back .
So no time or energy for talking during armwrestle , flex or everything else shown at many matches posted here lol Sure muscles / bicep contracts explosive at start to push but no time to enjoy or put in focus in any way lol often hair hides upper arm . When doing a flex this was after for victory or the audience

is there a pic of that shoot?
and what about tht booth contest? who placed first in the contest where u placed 2nd?
I once worked with a woman with a freakish strong hand shake. On my first day at work we got introduced, and I kid you not, my hand hurt the rest of the day. It was like she had bend my hand bones and ground them against each other.
She was rather petite herself so I did not see it comming. I almost think she on purpose squeezed so hard to get an reaction, atleast I think she gave me a little cocky smirk when she did it.
OK, so you never asked her to arm wrestle?

The Girl who won the Armwrestling contest and had beat me at final on Left was a c Crossfit competitor . About my height and same weight . She was best on Right too . She had a really expolsive stong push , first try our hand slipped off and it was first time that ever for me that i armwrestled with a strap . Wish i cold say the strap was reason for lose but she was clearly better . Just 3 seconds and my arm was down .

Thanks! Great story! I hope it was fun for you.
Yes had a lot of fun but was a tough challenge for me too . Never expected that i place good there . Armwrestled often before but first time with strictly guided rules and positions . Like wrote before at table the referees put every opponent into position , arms as well and put every finger in position until the referee gives his Ok and not mooving hands or fingers in any way until release hands for start push .
Thank good that there was some Pro Armwrestlers who explained gives intructions and did some practice with the competiotors before . But for the stap i was not prpared. Realy a funny feeling when first the referee brings arm , hands and fingers in posioton like before and then fix it with a strap . No chance for slip of at start but hands are fixed at end too and i tried to releese grip instinctly , get back from table but could not lol
great story... from what I read liesbeth u are really into armwrestling... I like ur attitude
I think I would enjoy a hand squeeze with you liesbeth
