When I search my favorites for “hidden gems” a few photos show an option to “pin” but most don’t. What is the difference in a photo that shows as a hidden gem, but isn’t pinnacle?
A picture should have 50 or less faves, and the girl should have 25 or less pics on this site. Many of your favorited hidden gems have more than 50 faves (so they were pinned before they hit the 50) and maybe some girls had less than 25 pics when the pic was pinned, but since then more pics were uploaded.
What does 'pinned' mean ? I am subscribing and then picking 'favorite' on all the images I like of that person....Is this not the correct manner to use the system ?
My two cents...
1- I don't know who the repost culprit is, but why is this a big deal? Because someone find it annoying? It's only one picture, he can't post multiple. It's not like he's clogging up the system like guys who drop a few hundred in the waitlist.
2- I've used this feature and think it was a good addition, to have guys check out lesser known women, but probably won't now. I've got one post a week that image only stays up for 5 hours? I knew when I could post another when I got a notification on how my last post got. But now 5 hours later I get a post telling me how the last post did, but I don't get another post for 6 days and 19 hours. Making it very unlikely I'll be counting the hours to contributing again.
Why not leave the post up for at least a day to be voted on, in this case, as sometimes the time you post has a lot to do with the number of eyes that see it.
Better yet if you don't like one person's behavior, why not block him from using the feature? Everyone else can play nice but one A-hole changes things for everyone.
We were getting reports of some images being repinned in excessive amounts.
Promoting an unknown model is fine, but spamming the site continuously with the same image just isn’t cool. People get tired of that and we get tired of the complaints, and the poor behaviour that leads to those complaints.
Remember there is a notion of having too much of a good thing, so we ask people not to abuse a feature.
There were some reports that some images kept getting pinned repeatedly (usually by just one user), so this should help alleviate that.
