Duplicated Post

why is my post indicated to be duplicated with another post? even though the photo I uploaded has advantages, by not cropping the studio's watermark Duplicated post :

I know your pain, this is really frustrating. Mods doesn't paid attention enough, they just see a report about 'Duplicate image', and they randomly merge your pic, whatever if you posted first or have better quality.

Good catch, I don't understand why you (muscleindo) deleted and then reuploaded the exact same image. Please explain.

My first impression is that you are doing some kind of upload/vote manipulation that you are trying to hide. Convince me that I am wrong.

I apologize for what I did. I feel it's unfair when my post is on hold for a few hours and when it's returned, the post is on the image page with the time calculated from the start, not deducted while this post was on hold

ok idk why it was so hard to find this but just wanted to let you know that the reason i merged it as I did was in favor of showing more of the leg in the now-deleted post, rather than the leg cutoff +headspace + watermark in the restored post. just a personal preference IMO.

so no i wasn't blindly merging, I actually looked at the two photos and made a decision. tbh I did not go far enough to find the source image to see if BOTH uploads had been cropped but generally i would rather like to see the full, uncropped version if it's not just a screencap of an instagram post or anything.

The poses are essentially identical. Just one has her head turned.

I know that but aren’t they then technically different?

yes, but more technically they are 98% the same, and don't need a separate post, since there's no different in the muscle being displayed.
