Although I respect your wishes, I need to voice my opinion. And my opinion is, this decision is all bullshit. But I will accept it.
These women are not spies or state security agents. At first it was: Do not share or ask for videos from HBC on this site.
Now its, don't ask for HBC models names, when most of them are all over the internet on sites such as IG, Reddit, Twitter, Onlyfans, etc, as you have mentioned.
I think HBC has way too much power over this GWM.
Is Reddit or Twitter making the same demands on behalf of the women?
The audacity for the HBC to ask you to remove/delete comments & threads that reveal the identities of performers at HBC is beyond absurd. No one is revealing their dates home addresses, schools where their kids play or social security numbers.
By curious fans wanted to know more about the females, it can only increase the females exposure and financial gain.
What is the HBC representative doing in here anyway? playing on both side of the fence.
What is HBC going to veto next?
You need to stick your ground.
"I think HBC has too much power over this GwM....."
It's worth pointing out that Her Biceps has allowed a lot of photos and some short clips from their site to be posted here on GwM. My thought, Francis, is that if you like this stuff to keep flowing to GwM, it's helpful to adjust your perspective a bit.
"HBC is just getting worse and worse. Honestly!" If you don't like it, you don't have to subscribe or join. Honestly!
Can't see what the issue is, ladies using a stage name on HBC is no different to someone using a screenname on a forum. In some cases it's simply to build a brand that is seperate from their private life, same way celebrities will use a stage name for their public persona to keep their private life, private. What the performers do outside of that platform is their business.
Although I respect your wishes, I need to voice my opinion. And my opinion is, this decision is all bullshit. But I will accept it.

Well I'm sorry buddy, but you are wrong on this.
This "rule" has been around.........forever! Whenever I've been on a message board on other muscle sites through the years and the girls have a screenname she is referred to as such. It's just simple. IF she's been outed on some other board that aint any of your business. It didn't come from you.
GWM is not getting pushed around by HBC and this isn't about your rights of free speech. I don't understand Francis R1 how you are hard done by this rule.
This is literally ...oh OK...........then get on with your day type of stuff.
By curious fans wanted to know more about the females, it can only increase the females exposure and financial gain.
They're basically doing porn and they probably don't want their profiles to show up on a search engine if their employers or family members decide to look them up.
GWM has respected the wishes of every model asking for their stage name to be used. I don't see how this is any different.
Now, are stage names for women on HBC actually that practical to preserve the model's privacy, especially given the large prevalence of unmoderated/undermoderated communities outside GWM? Sadly, no.
Edit: Also, I have noticed mods have been deleting/editing posts regarding HBC cam names for a long time. I'm pretty sure this was the policy for a while, but only now is it publicly being revealed.
For anyone questioning why I was furious at what I thought was a communist like rule, and especially @elusive1, or for @1323rebutu, who writes "They're basically doing porn and they probably don't want their profiles to show up on a search engine if their employers or family members decide to look them up".
Really? did the girls on HBC hire you as their Union rep?
Here we go: I questioned, metamorphically, how another man can tell you how to run your house.
I had noticed that for a while, HBC has major influence over GWM.
Your wrote that things have been like this for years, well I have only been here for a few months.
Nevertheless, I couldn't understand how HBC would demand GWM to comply with "the privacy" of the females on their site, when there is nothing private about that site in the first place.
What is private about HBC, when there are videos for viewership for purchase, and it is an adult business to make profit.
We are not talking staff in an academic institution here. Line such as respecting the females privacy is utterly shocking and upsetting to men like us, who cherish the girls, and some men jerk off to their videos.
It is not as if we were requesting for their private home addresses etc.
In addition, I once requested on a forum in GWM to have a video of a FBB, which unbeknown to me, was a video from HBC.
The admin from GWM, was quick to warn me not to make such request, as it paid content belonging to HBC.
I totally understood this rationale and went about my day.
However, with this latest restriction about mentioning the females names/identity that appear on HBC, I was astonished, and thought it was ridicule.
Women going online and showing off their muscles, being on Onlyfans or doing porn, you can forget the idea of your identity being kept a secret.
If I create my website tomorrow about female bodybuilders, and HBC made such request, I would tell them to stick it where the sun don't shine.
For there are plenty of webpages that would prove the same answers about the girls information upon research.
That was my initial point in calling this request a bullshit request. I question decisions and rules, and that was a questionable rule.
I do not regret my decision to voice my opinion and question such rule.
To conclude, it would appear that HBC has power over GWM, perhaps by way of sponsorship.
If I was informed that HBC sponsors GWM, I would not comment and totally understand.
This makes more sense to me now that this is most likely the case, hence I understand GWM decision about HBC's demands.
With that being said, I will comply with the request.
I agree on some points but do you not think some girls will remove themselves from HBC if the attention gets too much?
Some of these models really aren't too bright if they think GWM has anything to do with their identity being leaked and not their public social media profiles.
Everyone on HBC is a fan of FBB and don't exist in an HBC vacuum. Meaning, if you're a model, you're probably talking to people who already follow you or will at some point stumble across your socials. After all, most the models on HBC are some of the most popular and accomplished names in the sport. Yet, somehow they think fans of said sport won't know who they are??
It's like NBA players engaging with NBA fans with the expectation of them not ever knowing who they are. Makes 0 sense.
News flash, for all the models making good money on the site, everyone knows who you are and GWM has nothing to do with it.
As far as their name showing in search results. First off, GWM never shows up for me when searching an FBBs name. But, reddit, youtube, etc does. Secondly, I don't think that's really what their issue is here. Based on what I've seen I think some of these women really expect to be anonymous while on HBC.
I forget her stage name, but there was a model on HBC who I'm pretty sure left because her identity was revealed. Someone in free chat called her by her real name and mentioned her ig. You could notice the look of horror on her face after that, then she immediately logged off and has not returned since. She was a regular prior to that. So, it wasn't that GWM showed up in search results under her name or anything like that. A fan simply knowing who she is, was enough for her to freak out and leave. What did she really expect?
Personally, I'm over the entitlement and unrealistic expectations. HBC admins need to start being blunt with them. There's no such thing as privacy or being anonymous on the internet. Especially, when you're a high profile figure. Stop giving them unrealistic expectations.
And yes, I'm also tired of how often paying fans get thrown under the bus. Ironically, HBC has demonstrated in past that they will breach the privacy of their paying customers, they have ZERO PROBLEM REVEALING OUR IDENTITIES. But, for the women they will bend over backwards in a futile attempt to protect theirs.
Huge double standards all for something that's not going to make a difference.
What are you guys even talking about? This is a common decency. And not towards HBC but towards the ladies. Selling sexy vids is hardly anybody's dream career, and is frowned upon by the general public. If some fbbs don't wish to be featured under their own name, you should just respect that.
This comment makes the most sense to me.
I do not understand why some can't stand in another's shoes and I apologize for getting personal but why must what you want be more important than what these girls want/need?

If I was in their shoes I would realize my public social media profile poses more risk to keeping HBC separate than GWM does. The pushback isn't because people are against privacy. The pushback is because 1. double standards by HBC admins, 2. utter lack of logic behind their approach.
"what I thought was a 'communist like' rule......." Make sure to check under your bed tonight. There may be a commie hiding there (reference to my grand dad's stories about "commies under every bed" back in the 1950s).
"Personally, I'm over the entitlement and unrealistic expectations......." Doesn't sound like it.
Jeez the hell happened here?! Lol got like dozen of comments to read.
I agree with previous messages, lately I'm not liking the HB world anymore. I tried to get in touch with them multiple times but I never had a reply back, I'm pretty pissed off by that. After all I've been buying multiple VODS and been a member for years, but that's OT.
Maybe I should not talk that much since I'm not really uploading content for a century, but actually I don't see the problem on avoiding to use the girls public name when we can refer to them with just the stage name. (I guess we all call Slash, Slash rather then Saul Hudson) But I also agree that it's kind weird. Respectable but weird.
Girls on HBC are often on IG and OF maybe even on TIKTOK so really GWM should be the last of their problem. If they really would want to have their own privacy protected they just should avoid socials - but obviously socials are needed to lead customers to HBC - or use them in a smarter way. I'm also pretty sure it's very difficult to keep their name totally hidden, if they are going to compete for example, their real name will be public, and anyway socials and real life can meet and easily get mixed up always more frequently.
To make it shorter, I don't see any difficulty just using their stage name when talking about HBC but if you ask me what I think about it, I just think girls cannot have it all, and this request is as stupid as useless, but respectable.
"First off, GWM never shows up for me when searching an FBB's name....."
Funny, GwM shows up for me most of the time, with browser inquiries, especially if a model has more than a few pictures here. My entry into the browser generally goes like this (without the quotes): "Melania Trump, bodybuilder"
"Ironically, HBC has demonstrated in the past that they will breach the privacy of their paying customers, they have zero problem revealing our identities."
Whoa there, son. How about a little who, when, where, what, why to support your accusation. You use the plural: "customers," "our." Sure it's just not you?
I understand that HBC is part of a larger company, Eckstut Media. FWIW, I've been a paying member of the Her Biceps site since 2003 and have never had any disclosure of my real name except when done by me in routine communication with the owners.
(conflict of interest notice: Herbiceps runs ads on GWM)
First off, I am not the one who made this rule. I am not against the rule but it is not something I preemptively came up with.
That said, it's pretty easy to understand the logic behind it. Yes, there are some women on HBC who are so well known in the community that pretending that almost everyone doesn't know their identity is silly and unnecessarily frustrating for whomever is asking, but there are also women who are relatively unknown and exposing their identities would be uncomfortably close to doxxing. Given these two extremes, it's really hard to draw a line between whose identity is OK to reveal and whose isn't, so it's best to just not reveal anyone's. For the very well known models, the asker will sooner or later find out their identity anyway.
We have been asked by a representative of HBC to delete comments & threads that reveal the identities of performers at HBC. We will respect their wishes.
I know the obvious response most users will have is "well she has a public account on IG, Reddit, Twitter, Onlyfans, etc." Outside of HBC, that's not on us anymore. We're just keeping those accounts separate from HBC from now on.
So going forward, the rule is now:
