The users who frequent this site are putting these women's bodies under intense scrutiny. The content is basically PG-13 but there are some in the community who tend to over-sexualize the women here, going so far as to openly talk about their "hard-ons" or wanting to have sex with them, etc. No, we don't want children subjected to that.
TL;DR it creates a moderation nightmare due to public confusion about the nature of the site

Because in many jurisdictions anyone under 18 is considered a minor and while an image may not be NSFW it is hard to define the cut off point to what some may consider indecent. Add to this that the people who consider GWM a fetish site, rather than simply a website dedicated women with muscle, so you end up in position where people will consider abs image of potential ‘adult’ nature even if there isn’t one.
Add to that members who will go ‘boing’ in the comments, so that also would create potential issues when the subject is a minor.
From a moderation perspective, it is better we restrict images to women who are legally considered adult, for ease and to avoid potential liability issues.
Is it wrong to point out how the staff allowed muscular teens on the previous version of the site, and how most of said images are still on this new version of the site, with comments on how their bodies look?
[teen's name withheld due to Mods deleting her name in a future edit anyway, so no point in typing it]'s hard abs and [other teen's name withheld too]'s insane pecs are just 1 name search away for anyone to gape at.
I get how this version of the site, and the new staff... well, mostly as that Chainer fellow was already here in those days... wanna be all "won't somebody think of the children?", but then how come these images continue being on the site?
What I don't get is how one thing gets preached, while another thing is the reality.
IF the site is simply a collection of internet images, and sometimes video, of muscled girls, but not for the purpose of sexualising them... then why not simply allow teens but turn off comments?
IF the site is only for 18 and older athletes, then why no mass deletion of the teens uploaded back in the day?

We don't have a record of every image on the site that has a girl under 18 in it. So no, there is no magic button that makes all of these images disappear. If there are still some left then it's because people aren't reporting these images.
I think it's pretty disingenuous to say that most people who visit this site aren't sexually attracted by the women in this site. So I actually find it odd to have underage girls here.
Besides, the upload rules clearly state that pics of minors are not allowed. So I agree that a purge should happen, but I also realise that it's not easy to a: sometimes verify a girl's age, b: actually find all the incriminated pictures.
The simple fact that this is being debated is the reason why underage girls shouldn't ever be posted on here... 🙄
Seriously. Those who are complaining that underage girls aren’t allowed on this site seriously need Jesus 🤦♂️.
Also, in regards to the whole “you find this stuff on Instagram/the beach/wherever:” you have to put it into context. GWM is a fetish site, and we go to this site, along with many other fetish sites, for, well, stimulation. That is its purpose, and that’s an ok thing to do, but when that’s the context for the site, underage girls don’t belong there.
Just what is the issue with posting pics of girls under 18? It's not as if it is porn or nudity, and a lot of it is freely available on YouTube, Instagram etc
