Feature request: List of upvoted pics

Jul 04, 2021 - edited Jul 04, 2021 - permalink

I would very much like to be able to look up what pics I upvoted (+1) in my account, like the Favorites. Sadly, if you upvote a pic, the Favorite button disappears and for a while I thought that's cause it also gets favorited. But no, it does not. So this is basically a feature request.

Thanks for reading this and for any future comments on the subject.

That's the intended use. +1 means you think it's a good pic but not so much that you'd add it to your favorites list. If you had a list for +1's it kind of defeats the purpose, and you may as well add it to your favorites rather than hitting the +1 button.

youtube has a liked videos feature despite you can save videos to your own playlists including one called Favorites

pretty bad huh

So just use the favourites button as @cgsweat suggested

Why are you using +1 if you want it to appear in a list representing favourites.

YouTube liked videos is equivalent to favourites here

"Why are you using +1 if you want it to appear in a list representing favourites." ... When I figured out I'm doing it wrong I made this thread. "Why are you" thinking I keep using it wrong? I'm not. I just wanted to be able to see what pics I upvoted so that I can remove those upvotes and favorite them (cause you cannot do both for some extremely logical reason explained above). Hence the title: feature request. But it was all for naught. Bummer.

Maybe you could ask Chainer directly to see if he is able to make some magic happen?

Yeah, a feature just for you to "correct your data" is not... expedient. But I an sure Chainer CAN do that in the database directly. :-D

yeah it was a request not a demand :D easy. thanks for the suggestion, gonna follow up on that one.
