Suggestion: Winners of the day

It would be nice if it could be implemented to have a winner of the day for every day. ie, the most liked picture that calendar day.

This could also be further developed into winner of the week / month / year

GWM has a pretty advanced search bar that can already do exactly that:

That's not what I meant. I mean an option to see who was the winner on any day, not just the current one. Say, the most liked picture from 2016. Or 5th May 2021

That's an interesting idea. It would be possible to do, all the necessary information is in the database.

That said, it's not the easiest thing to do because it would require a new UI for displaying the thumbnails that's more specialized than the current paginated image listing page since you'd want to break the images out at least by month and year.

As an interim idea, maybe it could be a link to a model underneath Girl of The Week... yesterday's Winner of the Day.

Not sure how useful that would be, since the picture would have been on the top of High Score Today for the past day, and would probably still be in one of the top positions even if it isn't #1 anymore.
