Commenting

I'm a newly registered member and my comments are not posting. I just uploaded two pics, and they posted fine, but I can't comment. Whenever I type a comment and click post, the page reloads and the comment is not there. Is it my browser? New member? I plan to upload a lot, but if I can't comment, that defeats the purpose.

Also can't add tags.

i believe there's a short period after signing up where there's a comment lockout between comments?

There is a grace period, for new users, though I can’t remember how long it is. I think it may have been 5 days.

This policy was introduced to deal with a certain amount of spam that was making its way into the site. I appreciate it’s annoying, but hang in there and you’ll be able post once the grace period is over. In the meantime you can interact in the chat.

This sounds like you might be using Internet Explorer. Are you? If so, switch to a different browser.
