Girls that were going to be great but QUIT!

She was in the scene for awhile, but I wanted to mention Melissa Dettwiller, because unfortunately the "where are they now" isn't too good. She got married to a doctor and left the scene, and from looking at recent pictures you couldn't tell that she was a bodybuilder. That's not the bad news, though. Her husband got sent to prison for overprescribing opioid painkillers, and only a few weeks ago she was diagnosed with breast cancer. Hopefully, she can beat the disease and live a long, happy life.

This popped up in my mind when I saw her cancer diagnosis, and it may just be confirmation bias on my part, but it seems like a good chunk of FBBs have wound up getting diagnosed with cancer. From the top of my head, I know of:

• Kris Clark (RIP)

• Lynn McCrossin (RIP)

• Nicole Savage (RIP)

• Melissa Dettwiller

• Dawn Whitham

• Rhonda Lee Quaresma

All the ladies I mentioned were obviously on PEDs, and it makes me wonder if PED use results in an increased risk of cancer. I know I’ve thought about hopping on the juice, but of course, there is a risk to it.

I don't know how many of the ladies you mentioned had implants, but silicone in the breasts has an increased risk of cancer as well.

Tamara Kostadinova (Moscow Muscles) has cancer as well. She's going through chemo now

Mz Devious also comes to mind. I remember her getting upset and laying low for a bit when someone revealed her real name. Then she was back for a bit, then downsized heavily while still doing fetish work, but she seems to have disappeared for awhile.

Seconded. That’s a blast from the past. She was one of the first fbb’s i “discovered” when I fully realized I was attracted to muscular women and sought them out on the internet

Not all FBB's have cancer or other severe health issues.

back when she was considering figure shows, before doing those bikini diva shows (even those were pre-implant). she works in vegas now as a...pool girl? i don't really understand what the job is. she's still in great shape but no longer has that kind of mass. still has peaks though!

Vanessa Serros was unbelievable. Incredible guns for such a small girl, and her abs when she approached a competition were possibly the best I've ever seen. But yes, it definitely seems like that lifestyle is too much for many women so I can't blame her for choosing a different path

She had become really big as a teen, then after training for about a year she quit almost completely. She still trained until recently but not seriously and quickly lost most of her muscles. And a few months ago she deleted both her ig and vk accounts.

Hostess/waitress at a pool club, which basically an outdoor night club that is open during the day and has a swimming pool.

Tarna Alderman had the most amazing physique, I had ever seen on any other FBB. It’s looks like she’s walked away from the sport. In a way I’m kinda glad because meeting her was one of the most disappointing experiences of my life. She’s an unpleasant, shallow conservative, who hates muscle fans, or any one who admires her in general. If she’s going to be like I think it’s best she stays retired. I hope an FBB comes along someday that’s similar to Tarna, but nicer and more pleasant.

oh man i forgot about jackie. i had some brief contact with her but IIRC she had one of those pretty controlling BFs at the time. i think i found her IG so i'm gonna take a look

she's blacklisted on this site but Julia Monroe. really nice amateur physique, competed once or twice, disappeared from IG around the time she asked to be blacklisted here. i'm sure she's still working out but that may be list forever

Lacey Dunn (aka Faithandfit) was great and although she's still active on IG she's not really doing a lot of muscle stuff any more and is focusing more on women's overall health
