Lucky boy
Her son???? Hahaha. You been watching that incest porn again? JK.
Some sites say that's it's available on Amazon Prime, but I can't find it there.
Don't waste your time. It's just another stereotypical film about bodybuilders from someone who obviously knows nothing about bodybuilding. A very unrealistic story in every way. They make her look like she's got a big time mental disorder and needs a lot of therapy. Portraying bodybuilders as totally and I mean totally obsessed with themselves. Are some bodybuilders really obsessed? We all are to some degree perhaps, but to the degree of Pearl, I've never met anyone close. And the bodybuilder competitors and their so called competition physiques aren't even close to competition shape for such as supposed BIG SHOW. There's not even enough shots of hot, muscular bodies to at least make that worth your while. And was shot incredibly dark like bodybuilders are or should be in the shadows.
I think in a vague way it resembles her life.
AFAIK Julia is not married or has kids. Maybe she has a "boyfriend" but we know how long romances last for bodybuilders...
No, how long do romances last for bodybuilders?? Has there been a study or just more stereotyping??
Yes It's about a bodybuilder about to make it big at a major contest and get a major sponser when her ex-husband shows up with her boy and tries to get her back by leaving her son with her for a while so they can bond.
That sounds horrible. Why couldn't they make a movie about an FBB who defends the world from zombies or aliens?
I found it on youtube for free in its entirety about 6-7 months ago.
I've heard good things about it. And it's a film with a female bodybuilder in a lead role. It's not like there are a ton of those movies. Give it a chance!
Free on YT... I enjoyed it, but am a big Peter Mullan fan. If your wanting hot female bodybuilding action... Saddy this isn't the movie for it. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=75jJOea5c0I
I thought it was amazing. Julia is also a fashion designer which brings a very, for lack of a better word, artsy feel to her role in the movie. And well, then there's freakin' Peter Mullan. I first saw him in Top of the Lake with Elizabeth Moss. The fact that a muscular goddess like Julia had the opportunity to work with people of that caliber is a massive break through for female bodybuilders.
