Tagging members in photo comments

Would be nice to tag other site members in photo comments using the “@“ symbol. Tag others to bring them into a discussion or just to notify them about a photo that aligns with preferences/taste.

Why not just send those people a private message, sort of like "hey you might like this pic"?

That’s an option as well. In my mind tagging is more direct, but the DM system is a substitute.
