Micaela Viscido is still on here https://www.girlswithmuscle.com/images/?name=...
as someone mentioned elsewhere, being on here can being unwanted attention in their personal life, whether its from weirdos sending weird-ass DMs or people in their lives finding photos of them on here + all the comments.
in Janessa's case, I think she wanted a hard line between her social media accounts (personal) and her hbc persona (work). I used to message with her frequently in addition to buying stuff. then one day she just removed me from everything, not a block, just removal. i asked about it and she just wanted to keep those things separate, and set up an email for those that want customs.
i think others realize, if this becomes a legit source of income, that the site is somewhat beneficial for word-of-mouth advertising at the least. maybe that's why michaela wanted to be back on.
i don't think there's anything inherently wrong with the site, it's like an archival device for years of content, but people are dumb and don't use it right at times.
I don't understand why women wanting their pics removed from the site is such a hot topic. There was just a huge thread about it recently and it came up here as well.
I keep saying that while it is true, and unfortunate, that some women do want their pictures taken off, it isn't a particularly big concern, yet the topic keeps coming up.

I personally understand. When someone asks for their pictures to be removed, the collection is gone. Not everyone has the foresight to save the pictures, and those that do still inevitably end up losing access to some pictures because they forgot to save just that one.
Some people also dislike the idea of takedowns in general. They believe it's futile due to the nature of the internet, and that complying with takedowns is simply a pointless hindrance to the community (said people don't understand or care about the law).
Aleesha Young is a perplexing case. The fact that someone who takes pride in her physique would ask for removal after years of presence on this site incenses some people.
The take-down requests might not be all negative. Maybe some models just want to retain a sense of control over their image?
Once it's on the internet it's forever, but it's their image so if it makes them feel better who cares
It seems that some models requesting to have their images pulled from this site probably want you to pay for their content. I know a lot of other woman just don’t want their image to be in here for other reasons. For instance Aleesha Young or Lindsay Mulinazzi both requested to not appear on this site, but they both have pay sites and “premium content”. I’m not sure about others, but these two are certainly trying to limit how you can access their media.
It seems to me that women looking to make money from their physiques would WANT to keep pictures on this site. IMO, GWM is the best general clearinghouse site showing muscular women of note. Even those who charge for access to their website, photo collections, videos, etc. benefit from being seen here. For example, every now and then I see some photos from a classic WPW shoot that I had never seen before. That often inspires me to go to the WPW store and buy the corresponding video. So I wish women like the amazing Michelle Gavin would rethink their decision to ban their photos here. Heavy sigh!
And again, not everyone wants to be internet famous. Many people join and participate on social media not realizing the permanent memory of The Internet, and not considering the actual lack of control they have of images and comments (across all platforms). Upon discovering these unpleasant realities, they make efforts to pull back their social media presence.
They were very good models. Does anyone know the cause of this? Can you do something about it?
