Why do women ask to be removed from this site?

Some of them were creeped out by messages and comments they received from GWM members on their Instagram etc, maybe some of them were stalked.

This is the big one IMO. Another big one is for professional reasons: a woman Googles her name to see what a prospective employer might find and she finds pictures of herself that she posted on her personal Instagram account intended for self motivation and close friends all over the internet.

I constantly implore people on here to take it easy and don't creep out these women. Yet every day more and more ask to be removed from the site, lock down their social media accounts, etc.

Because they don't want to get attention, IG posts are uploaded here without her permission.

How do you know Instagram users are also GWM users? Do they use the same username here and on Instagram?

If you have proof of this you should tell the administrators.

It's generally one of:

• They Google themselves and are caught off guard that their pics have made it to other sites. Some of these women aren't looking for the kind of attention that they get here, while others seem genuinely surprised (in a bad way) that their pics getting copied off Instagram and getting posted elsewhere is a thing that can happen.
• They are looking to erase their public online presence, including their social media, along with their pics here. This could be because of harassment or because they aren't into the fitness thing so much anymore and looking to put that part of their life behind them, but this is just speculation on my part.
• They are job hunting and don't want GWM to come up in their Google search results, especially for professions where their image matters more (teachers, lawyers).

She did a topless photoshoot that got leaked and she lost all her sponsors. She quickly disappeared after that.Damn shame but to quote that episode on Sienfeld "They're real...and they're spectacular!"

As for the pay sites, I think Micaela Viscido is a good example lol, she asked to remove her pics here a long time ago, but she came back, maybe she thought having her content here was a good way to promote her paid content lol

I see much logic on that, I guess people that are bother by they publicity here ask to be removed while others can benefit from it, or take pride from the recognition or whatever.

For women not in the industry, I accept it and that is the end of it. But when women who are in the industry complain about being on GWM, it is strange.

Some women are definitely not prepared for the kind of attention that being posted here can bring, even if they don’t care that things are being posted.

Michelle Gavin is another good example, though I think her eventual shut down came as a result of nudes getting leaked from her Patreon.

My logic is: you can’t trust anyone, so don’t trust anyone with something you think could ruin your future.

Maybe someone has another take, but unless they have a private Instagram, any google search would turn up the same images there anyway. I think it’s just the unwanted attention.

Because they have chindren, parents or jobs and they dont't want to see her pictures that we post here when somebody googles her name.

But what about women like Aleesha Young or Hreapca Oana for example ?

They already are female bodybuilding stars, they have videos all over YouTube, Google image is filled with pictures of them, they have tens of thousands of followers.

Yeah this I don’t understand. Especially if the images are already posted on their public Instagram, they literally don’t even own those images anymore because of the Instagram/Facebook Terms of Service.

Private accounts with 60k followers doesn't make sense at all. Too bad for them.

An example I have is Libby W. She's a girl next door who used to post videos of her dancing with her big calves.

She was on this site for a while, but quickly asked to be removed from here, and then removed all of her Calves videos from her Tiktok and I think she also made her Instagram private.

That may be a case of her being creeped out by some users of this site :(

Another reason is they need or want to control through which channels/sites their images are made available through. This might be for monetisation, follower count or some other reason. Consider that if they are tied to a brand, for example, the sponsor might also be looking to control their visibility.

Also, body builders retire, just like everyone else at some point, and they sometimes want to reshape their new image.

Whatever the reasons, of which there are many, we should respect their wishes, even if it is a little frustrating as a fan.

That's pretty awesome. It won't work for everyone or even most people, but I enjoy the stories of a fitness model being able to set herself up for a real post-modeling career.

Too many "boings."

Maybe because the majority of users cannot form a sentence without "lick her" "pin her" "lift me" or other disturbing stuff under a picture?

I have talked to many competitors becuase of asking for customs and this is one of the comments I get: my requests are refreshingly mundane. No weird fetish stuff with diapers or stomping or talking about armpits. I can’t imagine the volume of weirdness these women get on a daily basis
