This is just thread to let you know about some bugs that I've been fixing... if you've ever experienced these, well, you no longer should. Post under "bug reports" in "website discussion" if you do. (Or if you see any other bugs, for that matter.)

I'll also include new features that I add as this thread goes on...

May 12, 2009:
-Fixed a bug involving some images showing up multiple times under a search if the search term is mentioned multiple times in the image comments/description.
-Fixed a bug where unregistered users couldn't rate a user's image if no one had previously rated any of that user's images.
-Shortened the updates list on the front page to 100 terms so that it no longer takes years to load. Placed a link to the older updates at the bottom.

-Split the member list into pages, and made it searchable (this way, the whole 2000+ member list doesn't load at once when you go to that page).

-Made URLs clickable in image comments
-Fixed a bug where pressing refresh after posting a comment on an image page would cause a duplicate of that comment to be posted.

-Moved the log out button to the very top of the page to where it says Logged In As [name]

-On the image page (imgpage.html, where all the comments/options for an image are displayed), entering an image ID in the URL that doesn't exist now shows an error page as opposed to the closest valid image ID to the one that was entered.

-Added new notification system.
-You can now see how many people have favorited any given image right below the image itself (one line below where it says the uploader's name). If you click the link, it'll tell you exactly who favorited that image. Note: this doesn't appear if no one has favorited the image.

-Posting uploads is now handled a bit differently than before. With each update, not all the pictures in the queue are posted- rather, I select pictures from those that have been in the queue for the longest amount of time. As a result, don't be surprised if you upload pictures and they don't appear on the next update; chances are, they're still in the queue and I'll get to them in a few days. On the plus side, this should allow for more frequent (if smaller) updates.

-Fixed a bug where the link to the profile of any user with a space in his or her name was broken.

The image page now displays the number of times an image has been viewed. Also, if the girl/woman in the image is named, the name is now a link to a search of that name.

Added spam protection (a CAPTCHA) to registration and to the image comments, since apparently spambots have found the main site now too.

Good idea. You know they had to catch up with your site sooner or later. Now if you could only add an idiot filter, we'd be all set.
Of course, such a thing would block about eighty percent of the comments, starting with mine.  ;D

Haha.

-Removed the CAPTCHA for image comments for registered members. Members have to go through a CAPTCHA now to register anyway, so having them do one every time they leave a comment seems redundant.
-Added extra protection (using cookies) to prevent people from rating an image more than once.

-Ratings are now a series of radio buttons as opposed to a drop-down list, and the form auto-submits (if you have javascript enabled) when you click a rating. This should significantly reduce the number of clicks needed to rate an image  :)

-Fixed a bug involving filtering images by tags on the main images page.

-At least 5 ratings are now required for a picture to be able to appear under "top rated" on the home page.

Fixed a bug where you couldn't leave comments on someone's profile page that contained apostrophes.

Fixed the randomize page so it works again:

Also added another row to the "top rated" category on the front page, so it now shows 12 pictures instead of 9.
